About Us

First chartered in 1989 by Paw Creek Presbyterian Church, Troop 70 has served boys, families, and the Northwest Charlotte community for many years. More recently, we were excited to add a girl troop to our unit. The troop's philosophy as a scout-led troop is grounded in traditional Scouts BSA principles as expressed in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Many opportunities for leadership, advancement, conservation, community service, and recreation in an outdoor environment are made available to the scouts.
